The next day the weather was a little dicey but we went to
Yorktown for a little Revolutionary War history. We had a CD that we listened to as we drove through the area narrating what happened where and telling us places to stop and explore more.

Next we headed to
Jamestown and spent the rest of the day in the colony. It was a little nippy out so it was nice to head inside and have one of the volunteers talk to us about what living in the colony was like, while we enjoyed the warmth of the fire.

Hard to imagine what it would have been like to be in one of those small ships for that long ride across the Atlantic Ocean.
