| Nic has Tom's lazy photo eye disease! |
Jessica flew into BWI on Saturday night then sat up all night watching movies with Nic. Fortunately they had both committed to getting up for church on Sunday then spending the day out having fun. We headed to Eastern Market after church and had brunch at the Boxcar Tavern.
After we shopped around there awhile drove to the National Cathedral where they were in the process of decorating for Christmas and The Kings Singers who were performing that night.

They had a display of creches from around the world that were really fun to look at
So up among the gargoyles there is a Darth Vader gargoyle so they have these in the gift shop. Jess has been dating a guy who is a big Star Wars fan so she sent this photo to him of her with "Dark Vader". Uh, yeah. Guess we missed the mark on kids who are Star Wars geeks.
Even in winter the Bishop's Garden is beautiful
