Colonial Williamsburg

We knew we wanted to go someplace fun while Jess was still in town.  She wanted to go to NYC but because we'd been there before (and I HATE driving there) and we hadn't been to Colonial Williamsburg, we opted for that instead.  Got there in time to find a hotel and settle in for some yummy food near William and Mary University.  BEST burger I've had in a long time!
Spent the next day enjoying Colonial Williamsburg.....

We did some tours then just enjoyed the shops and architecture.......

How'd you like this in your backyard?

We didn't realize that people actually live in Williamsburg.  You can't drive in town but the people who were coming to church that day can.
Loved the ideas I was getting for my garden when I get home......

 I want to live here.......

Waiting, then finally getting into the tavern for lunch.

That night we found a light show so we drove though it.  It was on the water so that was kind of a nice change......

 These were on the lake......

Old Town In Holiday Spirit

After Taylor took off we had to go to Gravelly Point to watch the planes land nearly on top of us!
Then we decided to swing over to Old Town and walk around a bit.

Down on the dock

I loved the lights on this store so had to get a close up to see if I can recreate it next year!
