Teri, Glen & DiAnne's Excellent Adventure Day 1

So I had convinced mom and dad that driving home with me in our new car was a grand idea.

 We had a few places we wanted to see along the way but really wanted to leave ourselves open to whatever struck our fancy.  First stopped in Morgan for orange tangees (ice creamy treat) and to see a family headstone.  Keep in mind this is only 25 minutes from their house!

 As we headed across Wyoming we happened onto Martin's Cove which is a Mormon historical site.  Spent a couple of hours there where a couple of senior missionaries showed us around and talked about the history.  There was a rain storm coming in which made for gorgeous skies for photos!

Then We Did This.....

Tom was leaving the next morning to fly back East so we had to have one more family party before he took off.  Plus we celebrated father's day and Jeff's birthday just to add to the fun!

 Who would have thought Craig would be a grandparent before me!!!  He's crazy in love with Kai!

 The rest of my trip in Utah I got to spend time with friends.  My sweet friend Lori has been undergoing radiation for cancer so I took her to an appointment, we had lunch and went to see our friend Jerry and cute baby Oscar!

                   Taylor's stupid dog did THIS while we were all gone one day.  GRRRRRR.

                     Went to Teresa's for brunch and to meet her two new grand babies!  So cute!

 Mom and dad were in charge of the neighborhood/ward party one night so we helped set up and had some great food.

             Live music and yummy hot dogs and potluck.  Mom and dad tearin' it up to the oldies!

 Robyn, Paige and I left early to meet Sara in Farmington to see The Fault In Our Stars.  This new complex is right below the freeway by our house.  They've done a great job on it!

                                               So pretty when we came out of the movie...

Mom, dad and I took a drive over to see the new Ogden Temple.  SO much prettier than the old one.  They've done a beautiful job on it and it will add so much to the downtown Ogden area!  We may or may not have also stopped at Farr's ice cream for an early evening treat.....

We also got together for a cousin's dinner and had a blast!  So happy to see everyone!

Friday night we headed up Big Cottonwood Canyon for Alex Smith's wedding.  The weather had been dicey all week so we were so happy when it turned out to be absolutely beautiful!
